It seems every basic bitch has a food blog. Well, I’m basic, I’m bitchy and YUP here’s *another* food blog.
I love food. Nothing turns me on quite like making a robust grocery list and imagining what deliciousness I’m going to pack into my chubby little cheeks. I believe every holiday should revolve around food and drink, and I can’t actually afford anything from the illustrious Fenwick’s, but I will break the bank to try a new wine and buy a sliver of fancy goat cheese.
I am Canadian, currently residing in the UK. Yup, I packed my bags and moved to another country for a dude (what type of feminist icon am I??) But luckily the food over here is great, the gin is aplenty and we brought a little British pug into our fam, so #noregrets. And it’s so amazing to have so many European countries just a cheap flight away, meaning I’ve had access to a larger variety of cuisine than ever before! Plus, we just got a local Taco Bell… what more does a girl need?
*Millenial Snowflake Warning*
I’ve had a lot of struggles with food. Meaning almost every other thing I put in my mouth (dairy and wheat) makes me feel ill or bloat to resemble someone who is 8 months pregnant. Does this stop me in my consumption? Not really. I am conscious about what I cook at home so I have a strong healthy belly 95% of the time. This means when I do go out and eat deep fried halloumi, it takes less of a toll on me during that 5%. But when you see me mention needing food without this or that, it’s because I am trying to keep my health in mind (but usually fail at it when delicious dishes are presented to me.)
The writing is the opposite of professional… the photos will be badly lit… welcome to Just Another Food Blog.
